The nominees were just announced for the 2011 Academy Awards.  For most people, the Oscar race has just started.  For those on the inside, this race has been "on" for months.  Prepping, campaigning, stunting, staging, and overall representing their film, the cast, and all involved.  

Watch today as you see interviews with nominees, and those not chosen, to see who is ready for this moment.  How are they coming across?  Do they have a clear message?  Are they prepared?  Have they OVER prepared?  

I've had the pleasure of working with two Academy Award winners while at Media-Savvy.  We began working with them months before this moment in the award show season.  They understood that THIS was the moment that counts, the one that their careers would be defined by.  And they were right.  As winners, they were memorable, humble, and full of pure heart.  

This is a classic example of Media 2x3's methodology.  Aligning what's happening on the INSIDE (nerves, anxiety, I'm-not-worthy, excitement) with how they present themselves on the OUTSIDE in interviews, speeches, luncheons, with fellow actors, those in the entertainment community, and of course, fans.

Every one of us has "Spotlight Moments" to prepare for.  You don't get a mulligan, or a do-over, when the spotlight is on you.  Be ready for it- it will be the one that defines you, this moment, and provides the stories that will be told from this day forward.
